Expenditure submissions – FY 2009 (For the 12 Months Ended August 31, 2009)

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) requires institutions of higher education in the state to complete an annual survey on Research Expenditures. This survey is mandated by the Texas Legislature, and it is the basis for an annual report of research expenditures at Texas institutions of higher education.

The report is widely used by institutions of higher education and other state agencies, and excerpts from the report are widely reported in the press. In addition, the data provides the basis for many far-reaching policy and management decisions.

The following pages contain both the System-combined as well as individual member submissions. While the 08-09 state-wide summary was not available from THECB as of the date these files were posted to the web, data from prior year submissions (and the 08-09 submission, when available) can be found at, when available.
